My Mind's Eye Paper Kits!

Be sure to see them in the store in My Mind's Eye or in the New Arrivals section!

Holiday Bird Bath

What a weekend! It was so, so busy...but yet a good one! Both of my boys and all the grands were here yesterday afternoon. They splashed and played in the pool while I cooked chicken on the grill. What fun!

Before they arrived I made this card with a new Impression Obsession stamp called Bird Bath . I stamped it on watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The image was colored using Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush to blend.

The main image panel was cut and embossed using Spellbinders Labels Thirteen Nestabilities. I distressed the edges just a bit with Tim Holtz Bundled Sage ink.

The designer paper is from the new Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather 6 x 6 paper pad. The cardstock is Majestic Purple and Sage Prismatics cardstock.

Those are my very first rolled flowers. I LOVE them! In fact, I even taught a couple of the grands how to make them this afternoon! :D

Be sure to see yesterday's post for the current discount coupon code. It's good until midnight tonight!

May You Be Blessed

I hope you've enjoyed JustRite week at Stamper's Dream as much as we have. My heartfelt thanks go to The Dream Team for sharing their fabulous projects and creativity. Aren't they awesome? And they are the sweetest ladies to boot!

For my card today I chose JustRite's new Christmas Nested Frames . Using my new Horizontal Clear Stamper I stamped each of the frames on watercolor paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Malachite embossing powder. I colored the leaves and berries with Tombow Markers , then distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Bundled Sage and Pine Needles Distress Inks. The sentiment was stamped and embossed with Malachite Embossing Powder onto a small piece of Mistletoe designer paper.

The frame behind the sentiment panels is Tim Holtz Baroque Bigz Die from Sizzix. I cut it from Sage Prismatics cardstock, then distressed the edges with Pine Needles Distress Ink.

The holly leaves were cut with a punch from my stash. I colored the Kaisercraft Pearls with Copic R27 so they would look like berries.

There is more JustRite goodness for you today from the Dream Team. So please be sure to visit Leslie , Christina , Karen and Cammie to see what they have in store for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Newsletter, Discount Codes and Cosmo Cricket

From time to time I receive emails from customers asking me how they can get discounts in the store. (In case you haven't noticed, there is a space for a coupon code on the checkout page.) So I decided I should let you all in on the secret, which is that you need to subscribe to the newsletter.

Before you start freaking out about even MORE email to fill your in box, I should tell you that it comes only once a month. And because I send so many at the same time, it might end up in your SPAM folder. The regularly scheduled timing of it is "whenever I can find the time to write it". I haven't had time yet this month....so you should be watching for it soon, huh? Just sayin'! Before you ask, NO...I DON'T AND WON'T EVER sell the list, or give it to anyone else. You can quote me on that one. Your email address is safe with me.

The coupon codes may also appear in my blog posts and/or on The Dream Team's blog...but only AFTER the discount has been offered to my newsletter customers. See where I'm going with this? I'm trying to say thank you to my customers. Because they are my customers and I like them so much. So...the short answer is that you need to subscribe first to the store's newsletter, then to each of my designers blogs. HERE IS THE LINK to the store's mailing list. You can see the list of designers on my left sidebar. I know...you probably already know them. It's because they are so wonderful, aren't they? I just love those girls! And they love me back. Well...the jury is still out on a couple of them! Ha!

Okay...enough about that.

Look at all this YUMMY new Cosmo Cricket paper! I also received the Ready-Set-Chip chipboard stickers for the Wanted line. I ordered buttons for each paper line, but they didn't come. They are all backordered, darn it! Oh well...at least we have gorgeous paper!

It's JustRite Week again at Stamper's Dream . I am SO EXCITED about these new Christmas stamps and what the talented Dream Team has done with them! We will be posting all week with the new images. Be sure to see the schedule below.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, and colored with Tombow Markers . The Path to a Friend's Home...

I know...I haven't posted much lately. (My bad!) It's just that life has been really busy lately with the office (my real job), the store, and numerous obligations I won't bore you with. Then there are all the other things that a girl needs to do. Like sleep? So this was supposed to be a quick and easy card. Looks like it, doesn't it? I have to confess that nothing I EVER make is quick! I'm just not one of those who can pull that off. Don't really know why. My mojo just doesn't cooperate, I guess. In the end, I really don't like this card much, and didn't do these stamps justice. But I finally just stopped *fiddling* with it so I could post. Don't you just hate it when that happens???

I digress.
I really do love this stamp set from the Stampendous new release. It's called Cardinal Path . It's a cling mount set that includes both the main image and the sentiment. Gotta love that!

I stamped it with Onyx Black Versafine ink, embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder, then colored with Tombow Markers .

The designer paper is Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses . The cardstock is Blush Red Dark and Baby Blue Medium Prismatics. The snowflakes were cut with Spellbinders dies and covered with Crystal Ultrafine Glitter .

Gotta run...I need to get out the door for work. I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

I used Onyx Black Versafine ink to stamp on watercolor paper, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. The image was colored using Tombow Markers and a damp paint brush to blend.

The designer paper is Basic Grey Eerie. The cardstock is Majestic Purple and Orange Prismatics .

Dream Big

I have always been a fan of carousel horses, and I think Lauren Pope did a fabulous job illustrating this one in the Enjoy The Ride set from Flourishes.

I stamped on watercolor paper using Onyx Black Versafine ink, then embossed with JudiKins Detail Clear embossing powder. I colored with Tombow Markers using a damp paint brush to blend.

The sentiment is also included in the stamp set. I used Spellbinders Labels Four to cut and emboss, then added two clear Mini Rhinestones .

The designer paper is from the new Basic Grey Olivia 6 x 6 paper pad. The ribbon embellishment at the top is Ecru Vintage Pom Pom from Maya Road. I was playing with my new Distrezz-It-All tool, so you will notice that there are a lot of distressed edges. I used Tim Holtz Distsress Inks on the edges, and Clear Rhinestones to embellish.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you have a marvelous Monday!
